Aluminum UNS J91100 coils are made with a blend between Aluminum and copper. The copper content in the Aluminum 1100 coils is minimal but it helps the sheets to exhibit superior ductility and durability. Aluminum UNS J91100 coils are resistant against corrosion. The Aluminum 1100 coils also offer great machinability features. The Machinability of the coils is enhanced when they are machined in hard temper. Both hot and cold forming is easy to perform with Aluminum 1100 coils. Intermediate annealing is not required while Cold working in the annealed condition. The Aluminum UNS J91100 coils also offer great weldability properties and welding can be easily performed using all the conventional methods. The Aluminum 1100 coils are sensitive to high temperatures ranging between 200 and 250°C, but the strength of the coils can be increased at subzero temperatures.

Applications of the Aluminum 1100 coils are found in various industries. Due to Increased strength at Subzero temperatures, Aluminum UNS J91100 coils are ideal for low-temperature applications. Fin stock and heat exchanger fins are made using the Aluminum 1100 coils. Spun hollowware, dials and name plates are also manufactured with Aluminum 1100 coils. Manufacturing of Decorative parts, giftware, and cooking utensils are also manufactured with Aluminum UNS J91100 coils. Some applications are also found in producing of Rivets and reflectors.
