SS 441 Sheets and plates are Ferritic stainless steel sheets that also contain niobium that provides the sheets good oxidation and corrosion resistance. The SS DIN 1.4509 plates provide great high-temperature strength in the exhaust gas environment. SS UNS S44100 plates also have deep drawing properties and Good brightness. These SS 441 sheets may be used in the annealed, cold-formed or as-welded condition in a range of applications. SS UNS S44100 plates contain Titanium, which helps these plates to have good stabilization and has excellent resistance towards stress corrosion cracking. The high-temperature strength of SS 441 plates exceeds that of both SS 439 and SS 409 stainless steel plates. SS 441 sheets are generally considered to be weldable by common fusion and resistance welding processes, including laser and high-frequency induction tube welding.
